There is a work party at the clubhouse this coming Saturday March 22.
Starting at 1.30 and continuing until pizza arrives at about 5.30.

16 teams entered the event. The draw was random and the teams played 4 rounds of 10 ends with a 90 minute time limit. Each winner received 3 points and 1 point for a tie and the differential was set at + /- 10 points.
The teams gathered for 9am with a photograph and introduction at 9:15a.m. 2 trial ends of 2 balls were played and the play stared at 9:30am. It was suggested that in 2025 play should begin at 9am.
The registration fee was $60 per team netting the club $960. The 50/50 draw raised $170 of which $85 was given to the winner Suphin Nakutnok.
The trophy winner and the $180 prize went to: Jenny Siu, Rainbow Lung and Anita Lee of Richmond 1 team, last year’s runners up!
2nd place prize of $120 was awarded to: Mann Park’s Gayle Waddell, Dianne Brynjolfson and Bernice Urbanik.
3rd place prize of $75 was awarded to New Westminster’s Barbara Hsieh, Carrie Lai and Betty Chan.
The prizes were awarded at 5pm.
Special thanks to: David Goddard, Tom Berridge, Peter Lee and Robert for helping with the set up and take down of the green.
Debra Golabek, Nancy Chalmers and Maureen Roulstone for help with creating and maintaining the snacks and drinks.
Ross Gentleman for score keeping and many others who helped out along the way.
The weather was cool and cloudy in the morning but the sun came out after lunch and was perfect for playing bowls.
